Whatever the Venue, Mariner Always Has a Huge Smile and Loves to Work
Mariner is one of those boys who just exemplifies what a Golden Retriever should be. He has an exceptionally beautiful headpiece often recognized and complimented by judges -- a broad forehead that is masculine, yet soft, gorgeous expressive dark eyes, beautiful earset, full dentition with a scissors bite, all topped off with a great personality and huge smile. A 5th generation SDHF and BISS winner, we are proud that Mariner is carrying on the tradition of excellence in his pedigree. At only 2 1/2, Mariner achieved more than we ever dreamed -- Best in Show Winner, Multiple Group Winner, Best in Specialty Show and GRCA Show Dog Hall of Fame. Currently, Mariner has earned over 175 SDHF points. Mariner's lush, straight medium gold coat with blonde furnishings is a dream to groom. He is a moderate dog standing 23.5 inches and a rock hard 72 pounds. He has a solid topline with proper tail carriage straight off his back, and is well-balanced with clean movement and a beautiful sidegait that enables him to effortlessly float around the ring. Best of all, this boy has a very showy attitude and ring presence. Mariner is very athletic and enjoys competing in a variety of venues -- he is currently training in whyObedience, Rally and Tracking. In 2008 Mariner completed his RN, JH and SHR titles, earning him the GRCA VC certificate. He earned his Grand Championship in July 2010, and along with way took Best in Specialty at the Greater Twin Cities Golden Retriever Club in June 2010 and at the Ft. Detroit Golden Retriever Club in September 2010. Mariner will be working on his Canadian SDHF and Grand Championship in 2011 with Jo Anne Griffith. Mariner is producing puppies with his beautiful headpiece, level topline and beautiful movement. Son Ronan, Ch. Glamour's Ronan N Macmariner CD, RN is following his dad into the specials ring while continuing to compete in performance. Daugher Flirt, Ch. Dichi Gimme That Wink recently finished her championship. Best in Specialty Winner daughter Camilla has 13 points and needs a major to finish. A number of other puppies are pointed and training in performance venues. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the lovely puppies he has produced. Mariner is truly a once in a lifetime dog who is a joy to live with -- he is a companion extraordinaire.

Camila has started her show career off with a stunning sweep of shows in Mexico at only 7 months of age. Camila's first weekend out included a Puppy BOB and Puppy GR1, and the second was even more exciting when Camila took 3 Best in Show Puppy wins. She then went on to take a Specialty BOB over ranked Specials and a Sporting Group 3 Placement! Camila currently has 13 points, including a major.
