Shor'Line Golden Retrievers
Welcomes You to Our Online Home!
Shor’Line
Goldens is located near Lake Bloomington in Central Illinois.
First, and foremost, my Goldens are beloved members of
my family. My dogs live in my home, join in nearly all
my activities, love to travel with me, enjoy meeting
new friends, and can’t
wait to experience new adventures!
While you can often see my girls winning in the agility ring,
they are just as happy hitting the beach to swim or racing down
the dock to see who can fetch their ball first.
I am very proud of my first home-bred
champion, Mariner,
BIS BISS Ch.
Shor'Line Jetoca High Seas Adventure SDHF who earned his
championship in August 2006 by going Best of Breed over three
of the top five Golden specials in the country at 20 months
of age.
Mariner
attained his Show Dog Hall of Fame title in June 2007 at 2 1/2
years of age. He is a Best in
Show Winner, Multiple Group
Winner, 2007 GRCA Top 20 Qualifier, and has numerous group placements. Mariner also became a Best in Specialty
Show Winner at the White River GRC Specialty in May 2007.
In 2007, Mariner ranked in the Top 10 in
both Breed and All-Breed rankings. Mariner received an
invitation to the 2007 AKC Eukanuba National Championship.
At just three years of age, he has already earned 76 SDHF points
as a Special. In 2008, Mariner will be focusing on
performance training in field, obedience and rally.
I
have owned Goldens since 1979 and have shown my dogs in conformation
and agility since 2002. I own a limited number of dogs
and breed when I am seeking a show prospect of my own. My
goal is to produce beautiful Goldens true to the breed standard
with exceptional temperament, character, and intelligence
that can excel in multiple venues. Whether they are being
placed as show dogs or as a family companion, I breed to
produce a healthy and structurally correct puppy.
I
place a premium on ensuring my dogs have a “True Golden
Temperament.” Whether they are show dogs or family
companions, I am interested in producing a dog that is fun
to be around, friendly, intelligent, easily trainable and a
great member of the family.
All dogs used in my breeding program have had their hips and elbows
certified through OFA, their eyes cleared annually by a board certified
ophthalmologist and registered with CERF, and their hearts
have been cleared by a board certified cardiologist for OFA
registration.
I
am a member of the Golden
Retriever Club of America and Town & Country
Kennel Club in Bloomington, Illinois.
While
my current focus is on competition in the conformation, agility
and rally venues, I enjoyed companion Goldens for over 20
years before beginning my journey in the show ring. While
I encourage everyone to find an activity they can enjoy
together with their dog, I genuinely feel that the most important role
for your dog is becoming a special member of your family.
